The problem you have is that you likely don't have Lion installation media (dvd or usb) neither you probably have a recovery partition because if Lion installation detected a non standard partition map it didn't install it. And when i click for close the menu or F2, the menu is already in my screen.

I can open the inventory with F2 in game, but if i have a bread for exemple in me, the image it’s not show for this item, the inventory is empty.
